4-color process printing (CMYK)

What is meant by 4-color process printing and the term "CMYK"?
It means that every color which is printed on the paper is made up of a combination of the 4 process colors of printing - cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.

We offer business cards, postcards, rack cards, letterhead, brochures, product catalogs, flyers, posters, sell sheets, pocketfolders, etc. printed in 4-color process.

Generally, it is to your advantage to order in quantities higher than 1,000 to really enjoy price breaks

Below are some general guidelines and specifications for some of our items.

General specifications:
Printing: 5-color Heidelberg press
Items that have bleeds require a 1/8" bleed on each side beyond the trim size
Items that do not have bleeds require a 1/8" white margin in from the trim size
Raster graphics should have 300 ppi (dpi) resolution
Lineart (1-bit) should have 1200 ppi (dpi) resolution
All final art should be either 1-bit, grayscale, or CMYK process. RGB and spot colors will not print properly.

Trim Size: 3.5" x 2"
Paper: 12 pt C2S, 14 pt C2S, 16 pt C2S paper or custom quoted stock of your choice.

Trim Size: 4" x 6", 4.25" x 6", 5" x 7", 5.5" x 8.5", 6" x 9", 4" x 9" rackcards (custom sizes available)
Paper: 12 pt C2S paper or your choice (custom stocks will need to be custom quoted)

Trim Size: 8.5" x 11" (standard US letter size)
Bleeds available with a small additional cost
Paper: Accent Opaque 70# text or your choice - depending on availability (may affect price)

Regular #10, windowed, and Tinted Windows available - as well as various sizes of catalog and booklet envelopes.
Bleeds available at additional cost and turnaround
Paper: Accent Opaque 60# text on regular #10 or your choice - depending on availability (may affect price)
